Dream Scheme Thursday!!! *~*FREE THEME*~*

Good morning Blogging Beauties!!!  Today I am sharing a card that I made using some FABULOUS new stencils from Dreamweaver's!!  Some of you may recognize Rain (LJ905), well I teamed it up with Rain Words (LG738) and Umbrella (LG737).  This card seems fitting for the kind of morning we are having here in Western Montana…RAINY!!  I guess my hike up Mount Sentinel will have to be postponed!!  Sad smile

Here is my card….

Dreamweaver-Umbrella&RainWo

On the Umbrella Stencil, I used MercArt USA’s fabulous turquoise aluminum and embossed with a paper stump and stylus.  I then filled in the back side of the stencil with Embossed Metal Backing Paste, so the puffy umbrella wouldn’t cave in.

The rain stencil was done with a Double Glitter Technique of turquoise glitter and Multi Crystal Ultra Fine Glitter.

Please take the time to visit the other member’s of the Dreamweaver Dream Team’s blogs today and see what fabulous creations they have been working on!!  You can find the links to all of their blogs on the right of this post!!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!!  Have a great day!!

Dreamweaver Stencils Sketch Challenge.....

A few weeks ago, hopefully you saw a beautiful card on Lynell Harlow's blog, Dream It Up, by Elaine Benedict. Elaine had used the new Damask stencil (LJ907) teamed up with this fabulous Thank You stencil (LG691). I was so inspired, I used the same stencils and designed it around Lee's sketch challenge this week!! I had so much fun. I used white and black glossy embossing paste and velvet paper to add to the elegance of this!!

Here is Lee's sketch....

Sketch 5, April 21st.

On the right hand side of this post, there is list of Dreamweaver Design Team members, please take the time to visit their blogs today and see how they answered Lee's sketch!!!

Thinking of You~Stampendous!!!

Good morning blog buddies!!
I don't know about the weather in your parts, but REALLY Montana, can't we get some Spring? The last few days, we have had intermittent snow and sunshine. It is the weirdest thing. I am really anxious to get out in the yard and clean it up ( I know these feelings won't last), which inspired me to make something with flowers on it!!

Stampendous! Poppy Bottles (SSC1092) fit the bill perfectly...

I was inspired by a fabulous CASE study challenge, which right before I wrote this, I realized had ended. Woops...
Here is what I used to make my card:
Card Stock: Basic Black, Very Vanilla (Stampin' Up)
Patterned Paper: Stampin' Up
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black (Tsukineko), Pro Markers (Letraset), pearls (CTMH), ribbon (Stampin' Up), charm (stash), stitching (me)

Thanks for taking a quick peek!! I hope you have a super day!!

Dream Scheme Thursday....A theme of our choice today!!

I had so much fun making my Dreamweaver Stencil card this week. I used a fun new metallic foil technique that myself and the other Design Team member learned at CHA in January.

First I dry embossed my Teacup Stencil (LG683). I applied pigment ink to the embossed area of the teacup. After inking well, I sprinkled Stuck On You bonding powder to my image and melted it with a heat tool. Once the powder was melted, I cut a piece of metallic foil to fit over the image. I placed the stenciled image and piece of foil in the middle of a folded piece of printer paper and ran it through a hot laminator. After coming out of the laminator, I peeled off the metallic foil and the beautiful foil was covering my stenciled image. I repeated the same process for the other teacup.

Once all of my foiling was complete, I paste embossed the Eyelet Border (LM175) and Blowing Leaf Border Stencil (LM282) onto the edges of the teacup with Pearlescent Paste.

I wrapped the beautiful Creative Impressions ribbon around my creation, stuck a beautiful Dreamweaver decorative pin, stamped my sentiment with a fabulous stamp set from Skipping Stones Design.

Thanks for taking a look today. You will see on the sidebar all of the other Dreamweaver Design Team members....See where there creative muse took them today....
Have a great day!!

Dreamweaver Colorway Challenge ~*~Teal & Yellow~*~

Welcome to Dreamweaver Dream Scheme Thursday!!!
This week our FABULOUS Design Team sister Kristi has thrown us a Teal & Yellow challenge.

I have known about this challenge for quite a while and have been contemplating it!!! Finally it came to me....

Mix Dreamweaver Glossy Green and Glossy Blue pastes together.....TEAL!!! The picture really doesn't do the color of the tree justice.
This is a simple pasting technique. I mixed the two colors of paste and pasted. It was pretty darn easy!!

Please take the time to see how the other Design Team sister answered the challenge. There is a list to all of their links to the right of this post!!
